I've been exploring this section of Seller Central for a few hours today - If you want to see how a specific product in your catalog stacks up against similar ASINs within your category in terms of engagement, traffic & sales, I'd highly suggest playing around with this tool!!

Shoutout to Ouriel Rybski for spotting this and posting fantastic insights on this topic earlier this week.

In short, head to Business Reports - Detail Page Sales & Traffic by Child Item - Select ASIN. You'll see a similar chart to the one shown in the screenshot below. Select the date range you wish - From here, you can start comparing various product-level metrics to the:

🔸 Top 10 Category ASINs

🔸 25th Percentile ASINs

🔸 50th Percentile ASINs

🔸 75th Percentile ASINs

You can select & compare various sales & traffic metrics such as:

🔸 Ordered Product Sales

🔸 Total Orders

🔸 Page Views

🔸 Unit Session Percentage

🔸 Average Selling Price

In this instance, I'm working to figure out whether a premium-priced product in a competitive category is stacking up against competitors, as we maintain the #2 ranked product at a far higher price-point than others ranked within the top 25. As we can see below, we have a significiantly higher amount of page views on any given day, as well as through this selected period, vs. top 10 ASINs in the category, however, our Unit Session Percentage (CVR%) is far lower than top competitors - A story we've been trying to tell for quite some time, so this data only further confirms what we already knew.

Very useful tool for comparative analysis and a greater understanding of how your flagship products stack up against top competitors!! 🚀
