Nobody launches a TikTok Shop at a loss on purpose.

Nobody launches a TikTok Shop at a loss on purpose.

They do it by accident, and it happens in about four minutes.

You take the Amazon price. You port the listing across. Then you add affiliate commission, the platform fee, ad spend, sample costs, the shipping you absorbed, and the returns you did not budget for.

No single one of those kills you. The pile does.

And because none of it shows up until month two, everyone spends month one celebrating GMV and month two wondering where the money went.

The brands who make this work did one boring thing first.

They worked out the floor before they spent a penny, and they set their commission to fit it instead of copying whatever the category was doing.

Be honest.

Before you launched, did you know your floor?

PS. It's not your fault...... understanding the TRUE P&L is one of the mysteries around TikTok Shop (it's why there are so few reliable P&L TikTok Shop tools)
