TikTok Shop quietly rolled out something most sellers haven't clocked yet

🔥 AI mode 🔥

Log into Seller Center now and there's an assistant sitting in the corner.

Ask it "how did my shop perform last week?" and it tells you.

Ask it to build GMV Max campaigns, it builds them.

Ask it to make videos for your products, it makes them.

You can now talk to your shop like it's a person.

This is a bigger move than it looks.

TikTok isn't just selling you ad space anymore. They're handing you the strategist, the media buyer and the content team, baked into the dashboard, for free.

Sounds great.

Here's the catch:

👉 The assistant guides you toward what TikTok wants you to do. More GMV Max spend. More videos. More activity on the platform. It surfaces "opportunities," and almost every one of them costs you money on TikTok.

That's not a criticism. It's just what it is. The assistant works for TikTok, not for you.

The brands who win with this won't be the ones who do whatever the AI says.

They'll be the ones who use it to move faster on the right things and ignore the noise.

A tool that builds your campaign in 30 seconds is only an edge if you already know which campaign to build.

Have you seen AI mode in your Seller Center yet? Curious what it's nudging you to do.
