Amazon just dropped a new tool in Accelerator yesterday: Profit Analytics.

I’ve already had a chance to play around with it, and honestly—I think it’s pretty good.

What I like:

● You can see all the costs tied to your products, at both the account and product level.

● You can build product groups and click into them anytime to check performance . This is very helpful.

● Fees per unit are broken down across different time periods (super helpful for spotting changes).

● You can plug in your own COGS, storage fees, even ad spend from outside Amazon.

It gives a lot of clarity into what’s really happening behind your sales numbers. I can see myself checking this weekly just to stay sharp on profitability.

There’s also a scenario modeling feature—it shows you potential impacts of things like Amazon Warehouse & Distribution or Ships in Product Packaging. For me, not a huge use case, but I can see it being useful for others.

I’m excited to dive deeper into this and probably make a video soon, because with every new tool Amazon launches, there are always little tricks that can make a big difference.

If you want to check it out yourself, you’ll find Profit Analytics under Reports → Selling Economics and Fees in your Seller Central.
