You know how sometimes a small detail in your Amazon listing can quietly cost you sales?
We had this ankle brace that was doing well overall, but the return rate was higher than usual. Since it comes in different sizes, that’s kinda expected… but it was still higher than category average.
So we dug into it. Turns out most returns were because people were picking the wrong size.
We did have a size chart — but it was based on shoe size, which isn’t exactly the best way to measure an ankle brace.
So we redid the image completely. Added clear, visual directions showing how to measure your ankle and find the right fit.
And guess what? The return rate and NCX Rate ( Negative Customer Experience) started dropping. You can literally see it in the graph.
It was a good reminder: your listings are never “finished.” There’s always something to improve — and sometimes the biggest wins come from the smallest details.
