Amazon just rolled out something pretty interesting at Unboxed: Sponsored Products & Sponsored Brands prompts.

And honestly, it feels like we’re stepping into a new era on Amazon. Here’s everything I know so far:

Prompts plug right into your existing SP and SB campaigns and act like a little AI helper that surfaces the most relevant info about your product. They show up naturally while people browse and give shoppers the exact context they need to make a quicker decision.

All the responses come strictly from Amazon’s first-party data: your PDP, your reviews, your Brand Store, and your campaign keywords.

Amazon also gives you reporting to see which prompts surfaced, which ones got clicks, and which ones actually helped conversions.

And if there’s a prompt you don’t like?

You can update your PDP/Store/campaign inputs — or simply pause it.

Right now it’s open beta and free, but eventually it’ll switch to CPC. So this is the perfect window to experiment and see what resonates.

🧠 My take

This is clearly another sign that shoppers are getting comfortable with AI guiding their buying decisions. And it makes clean, clear product info more important than ever.

What’s still fuzzy for me — is how these will work along with keyword targeting and why Amazon has added these to same targeting campaigns.
