Always interesting to see what makes Amazon's homepage carousel, especially in the lead up to a tentpole event. Seeing 3 items that Amazon is giving more attention to in this carousel to complement visibility in other areas of Amazon.

1. You can still add to your delivery- this has been popping up after you convert on your Add to Cart purchases as a bit of a nudge to add more items to be delivered with those you just ordered so looks like it is getting even more attention on the home page. This one is a bit more time sensitive as usually only appears while a window for a quicker same day/overnight delivery is still open for adding items.

2. Trying to entice Alexa hardware upgrades with Alexa+ access.

3. Rufus prominently featured PLUS with personalized restock items. This one is significant step up of Rufus being featured during a tentpole event as when you click on this from the Homepage, it takes you right into Rufus with a pre-populated question of "What are the early deals on items I restock the most?" Rufus then goes through 3 quick steps of Thinking, Scanning Past Orders, and Gathering Products.

The accuracy for me was spot on with the products I order most, but many of those products were already on Subscribe & Save that I am getting a deal on already so maybe some more opportunity to exclude those from consideration.

When it could not find deals on my most restocked Brands, it did offer relevant alternatives from different brands (good and bad for brands depending on if you are the already purchased brand or opp to gain new consumers).

Rufus mentions it scanned order history from Sept to Oct 2025 so a limited scope, but most current history is the catalyst here.
