I keep getting asked this question:
Amazon launched their own MCP. Are we worried?
Not even slightly.
And I'll be honest, most of the tools Amazon releases are underwhelming. They look great in the announcement, then you actually use them and the gaps are everywhere. Their MCP is no different.
No ads data. For a platform that runs on PPC, it's blind to where most sellers spend, and waste, their money.
No profit. It shows you revenue, but not whether you actually made anything after costs.
No fees. FBA, referral, storage, all the charges quietly eating your margin every month. Invisible.
So you're left with a tool that tells you what sold, but not what it cost you, what your ads did, or whether you're actually making money. And that's before you get to the fact it's US only, one account at a time, still in beta, and routes every request through Amazon's own AI assistant instead of giving you direct access.
I dont expect it to catch up to Sophie Hub anytime soon.
Because while they're starting, we're already miles down the road. Every ad type including AMC and DSP. Profit, fees and refunds. Most marketplaces, not just the US. Real PPC knowledge built into every skill, so it tells you what to do, not just what happened.
And we're not slowing down.
Comment "MCP" and we'll plug you into the most advanced Amazon MCP on the market.
