Not enough Amazon brand operators are using KEYWORD GROUPS and it's hurting their growth potential.. Here's why...

At AdsCrafted, I'm working on taking AI + MCP + Amazon to a new level. I'm always looking for ways to use AI to level up as an operator.

For any given product there are hundreds to thousands of keywords and your task as a brand operator is to rank on all of them.

On Amazon we work in a pay-to-play environment, therefore your only lever is pay per click.

Trying to run PPC on hundreds to thousands of keywords per product is not realistic. This is where brand operators fail and lose control over.

To overcome this you want to convert the hundreds to thousands of keywords into 10 to 20 keyword groups. I define a keyword group as keywords that share multiple root words. My go-to is usually sharing two root words.

At AdsCrafted we organize everything at the keyword group level.

One thing I've learned from Amazon is that Amazon will rank your keywords or a group of keywords that are relevant or directly correlated to one another. Generally you will find that if you rank for five of these keywords in these keyword groups, you will also likely rank for the rest of the long tails in that keyword group.

But by breaking it down at the keyword group level, you can now control where your spend is going and analyze data at these keyword group levels.

With less individual keywords to manage, you can make better strategic decisions and ultimately achieve higher organic ranks if done properly.

This is where the next level of Amazon AI Automation is going.

➤ Automation for scalability

➤ MCP for efficiency
