Did you know you can calculate conversion rate and CPC before even entering the niche directly from Amazon themselves?.. Here's how...
At AdsCrafted, I'm working on taking AI + MCP + Amazon to a new level. I'm always looking for ways to use AI to level up as an operator.
From Amazon you can pull estimated orders and clicks for any keyword or keyword owned by an ASIN in any niche via the advertising API.
If you're following, you would have realzied that with estimated orders and clicks you can calculate conversion rate. This is generally a KPI that would never be revealed directly from Amazon.
Another important metric about the market that will determine if you can succeed, is cost per click. From Amazon you can pull the suggested bids via the advertising API. The bids are obviously not perfect however they will give you a proxy of what the cost per click is.

Why are these two metrics important? Because now you can calculate ACOS.
ACOS is calculated as ad spend over ad sales. If we break this down further it comes down to three levers.
➤ AOV
➤ Conversion rate
➤ Cost per click
If I had an AOV of $25, a conversion rate of 20%, and a CPC of $2.00, then expected ACOS is 40%.
If my gross margin is 50%, This means I can run a margin of 10% while running PPC and growing the brand. In a niche like this, it's easy to be profitable on day 1.
If you can find a niche that allows you to be profitable running PPC while trying to capture organic rank (a zero-ad-spend sale), these niches are significantly easier to operate in as you build the brand.
These are the kinds of metrics that I expose in AdsCrafted and avaliable via AI+MCP to digest.
This is where the next level of Amazon AI Automation is going.
➤ AI for reasoning
➤ Automation for scalability
➤ MCP for efficiency
