Most Amazon sellers have never had a real PPC audit. They have had someone pull

Most Amazon sellers have never had a real PPC audit.
They have had someone pull a Campaign Manager screenshot, circle the ACoS number, and say "this needs to be lower." That is not an audit. That is a book report.
A real audit answers six questions. Every time. In this order.
After reviewing Amazon ad accounts ranging from $5K to $500K/month, the pattern is always the same. Sellers spend 60-70% of their time adjusting bids on keywords that should not exist in the first place. They are polishing brass on a sinking ship.
Here is the framework I use to audit any account in under an hour (or 60 seconds if you automate it).
The 6-Point PPC Audit Framework:
1. Campaign structure, can you tell what each campaign does by reading the name?
2. Match type isolation, is broad competing against exact for the same search terms?
3. Search term bleeding, what percentage of spend goes to terms with zero orders?
4. Placement performance, are you paying 10x for bottom-of-search clicks that never convert?
5. Negative keyword gaps, how many converting terms are still running in discovery campaigns?
6. Budget pacing, which profitable campaigns run out of budget at 2pm?
Most accounts fail 4 out of 6 on the first pass.
The worst part: every day you do not fix these, you burn money. A 30% wasted spend ratio on a $50K/month account is $15K/month going to clicks that will never convert. That is $180K/year.
I wrote the full framework with exact thresholds, formulas, and fix actions for each check. No fluff, no "optimize your campaigns", actual numbers you can use today.
