Mapped out how many days Express Payout cuts from sale to bank

A few threads here have asked what the catch is with Express Payout, so I traced one order through the old timeline and the new one.

Say an order gets delivered on the 1st.

• DD+7 means those funds don't show as available until the 8th. Then you request the payout (or wait for your next scheduled one).

• Before: ACH took 3-5 business days, so the money landed around the 11th to 13th, later if a weekend got in the way.

• Now: within 24 hours, weekends included, so the 9th.

You save 3-5 days per payout, which helps. But the first week, where Amazon is holding the money, hasn't moved at all, and neither has the settlement schedule.

Other details from Amazon's pages and the email that went out:

• Free for now. Amazon says there may be a 50 cent per transaction charge later and that they'll give notice first.

• You can turn it off under Deposit Methods.

• Since launch, some sellers are still getting the old 3-5 day notice, and one had their deposit account switched back to an old closed bank account.

Anyone getting it in under 24 hours every time yet? Curious whether it's working for everyone or still rolling out.
