Amazon Expands Commercial Liability Insurance Requirements
► Starting November 2, 2026, Amazon will require sellers of products in certain enhanced-safety categories to carry at least $1 million in commercial liability coverage, regardless of monthly sales.
Categories include: children’s products, cosmetics, ingestibles, and lithium-battery products.
► Mainland China sellers will also be required to obtain new coverage through Amazon Insurance Accelerator. Policies purchased outside the program will no longer be accepted for new submissions.
