Customization at scale: that is just ONE of AMC's superpowers

Here are some of the audiences we use at BTR 👇

🔶 Highest return (lower funnel)

Engaged with our product but didn’t buy. Shoppers who viewed our product page, added our product to cart, or clicked our ad in the last 7–30 days, with no purchase of our product.

BTR result: One of our brands ran Amazon’s prebuilt audiences, including “clicked or added to cart,” alongside deals and aggressive top-of-search placements. The combined conversion rate was 49% over the first two days.

Our lapsed buyers. People who bought our product 45–90 days ago (tuned to its reorder cycle) and haven’t bought from us since.

BTR result: “purchased brand’s products” audience converted at 75% (42 orders on 56 clicks).

Our cross-sell buyers. Bought our product A but never bought our product B.

🔶 Strategic (protect efficiency)

Leave our existing customers out of prospecting. Remove people who already bought from us from upper-funnel and new-to-brand campaigns so we’re not paying to reach them again.

Lookalikes of our best customers. Take our repeat or high-value buyers and have Amazon find similar shoppers.

🔶 Upper to lower funnel

Saw our video or Streaming TV ad but didn’t buy. Shoppers who watched our video or Sponsored TV ads and haven’t purchased our product.

Clicked our ad on a competitor-brand search but didn’t buy. Someone searched a competitor’s brand name, clicked our Sponsored Products ad, and didn’t purchase. This only works if we’re bidding on competitor terms.

-------------

What AMC can’t do: we can’t target people who clicked a competitor’s ad or bought a competitor’s product. For competitor or category reach, use Amazon’s prebuilt audiences or DSP’s standard in-market audiences.
