This is the first Accelerate I have missed in three years. Fill me in 👇

What's the good, the bad, and what I have missed out on?

On the announcements side, it doesn't look like anything too surprising has been announced.

Gibby H. from BTR sent over a good update yesterday -

🔶 Seller Assistant -

It's pitched as a "team of experts" that makes sellers' lives easier and grows the business substantially. It's proactive: it flags which products are about to surge, helps reduce returns, and saves time. It learns the more you use it, keeps full records, and maintains context across sessions. It's built on four pillars: selling expertise, memory, monitoring, and autonomy. It compares a seller's sales growth against the category and adapts to what the category demands. It can refresh listings and A+ content, suggest bundles, and explain budgets and timing. It supports planning ahead, including how much to invest, using past category demand, trends, and performance. Other capabilities: pricing automation, finding new products for brands to launch, and both prebuilt and custom automations. Going from new product to launch is described as immediate and seamless.

Seller Central and Canvas -

Seller Central has been rebuilt around Seller Assistant to streamline business decisions, prep, and goals. Canvas is an additional AI layer for Seller Central: a dynamic, visual workspace that shows real-time business data, analytics, and actionable growth insights.

🔶 Amazon is one of Anthropic's biggest investors -

The launch of an official Selling Partner Plugin. Context without intelligence is just a dashboard.

🔶 New campaign overview experience -

shows what's working and what isn't, and learns as it's used.

🔶 Auto-optimization is launching -

Covering keyword expansion, product targeting, and seasonal adjustments. Humans stay in control. Stats cited: 40% faster first sale and 67% higher CVR.

🔶 Ads Data Manager -

Lets advertisers bring their own data into Amazon, such as DTC email lists for expansion. The data is encrypted and available only to the advertiser.

🔶 Alexa+ for Shopping -

Ads run there with no new campaigns or budgets needed.

🔶 Sponsored Prompts-

6% increase in CVR for Sponsored Brands campaigns.

🔶 Listing protection with a grace period: sellers get 3 challenges, replenished every 180 days. It will be live in the US by end of year.
