“Based on what you know about me” ⬇️

This is a fun little test for everyone, and also the EXACT reason I think AI will be so disruptive to the RMN space.

It’s NOT about what AI agent is easiest to use, or which one is most native to the platform.

It’s about who’s going to know the customer best.

Kiri Masters recently posted Jassy’s take on

Third-party AI agents

“They haven't been great yet." They lack buying history, personalization, and accurate pricing. All true. But he also acknowledged Amazon is "having conversations with lots of people" about integration.”

I think he might be a little too close to his own product.

The retailers have been able to collect a ton of data, they know me incredibly well.

But the information I WILLINGLY hand over to my preferred AI agenct is exponentially more than I would ever give my retailer.

I have no need to update my retailer on every little piece of my life, my personal AI on the other hand, it more context than you could imagine.

Which is why it’s so disruptive to product discovery.

Jassy is focusing on the wrong thing.

I don’t care if the checkout isn’t as seamless, or that my agent isn’t perfectly tracking my buying history, I care about the personalization.

That is the competitive advantage.

All it takes is the customer journey starting with the agent to completely change the game.
