Amazon FBA Changes Are Coming, and Resellers Need to Prepare!
Starting March 31, 2026, Amazon will require all resellers to use FNSKU labels. No more manufacturer barcodes (UPC, EAN, ISBN) for those outside the Brand Registry.
Here’s what that means:
• FNSKU is now mandatory: All resellers will need to label every unit.
• Goodbye to commingling: Your customers will only receive your inventory. Returns? All yours.
• New compliance rules: Without proper labels, your inventory will be marked defective and Amazon will charge you for the labeling.
For brand owners enrolled in Brand Registry, the transition is easier, as you can still use manufacturer barcodes.
Change is coming time to plan ahead!
