Did you catch the new Amazon drop?

It is subtle, but it is a massive shift.

Amazon is rolling out a price history chart, right on the product page under the price.

No digging necessary.

Shoppers get instant context.

Is that promo a real discount, or just a “deal”?

The curtain is officially pulled back.

Great for consumers, absolutely.

But here is why the rest of us should pay attention:

It is an intel gift.

We now get clearer visibility into competitor pricing, how often they run promos, how deep they cut, how they anchor value.

It turns into a free competitive benchmark that can sharpen every client recommendation.

Transparency is not optional anymore, it is table stakes.

the direction is obvious.

If Amazon keeps pushing into this territory,

all those clever pricing tricks are going to look real obvious real fast.

You cannot hide shaky pricing when the history is sitting right in front of customers.

The real question is,

are you ready to play the long game on pricing,

or were you banking on short term tactics?

Curious, do you already see this feature on your account?
