Is Amazon only for products under $40?

Most products fit in this category. You probably had a Prime Day deal for a product in this bucket. You put together a deal that was certain to perform well.

But the real winning products... the ones doing $1m+ on single SKUs are getting it done at high price points.

This highlights something about Prime Day that a lot us are missing. High ticket items, with big discounts (think $100+) are what drives big revenue on Prime Day.

We looked at our SmartScout database and found the top 10 biggest successes in July's Prime Day.

Here’s the list:

Dyson V8 Plus Cordless Vacuum – $11.96M

Dyson V11 Origin Cordless Vacuum – $8.78M

iRobot Roomba 104 Robot Vacuum – $6.97M

Jackery Explorer 1000 v2 Portable Power – $6.78M

Jackery Solar Generator 1000 v2 – $5.32M

Momcozy KleanPal Pro Baby Bottle Washer – $4.78M

Shark Pet Cordless Vacuum Cleaner – $4.77M

Philips Sonicare ProtectiveClean 5300 – $4.40M

Graco Extend2Fit Convertible Car Seat – $4.17M

Instant Pot Duo Plus 9-in-1 – $2.45M

The average price of these products? $332.

That’s not “cheap impulse buy” territory.

Brands with strong reputations, clear value props, and high-consideration products win. In a big way.

And for the record—vacuum cleaners? They're cleaning up the competition. Damn.... that was smooth.

TAKEAWAYS:

Look at your high price point products for Prime Day deals. Customers will open their wallet for that top tier product.
