Are my shipments at risk of getting rejected?
Posted by u/TopHornet4259
I had unlimited capacity when I created these shipments, but now Amazon has put a limit, and it's less than what I need. The open shipments total 195.80 cubic feet and will ship from China in 1-2 days, with 69.84 cubic feet on hand. By late Nov, my on-hand cubic ft would be around 50.
The open shipments will arrive in late Nov-Dec, so my concern is whether they are at risk of being rejected.

You're fine but you won't be able to make new shipments

If you already created shipment you’re fine. The grayed out area are your inbound shipment. You just won’t be able to create any NEW shipment until your inventory depletes / bid for additional space

Yes, you need to bid for more space. As soon as your bid is accepted, the space will be granted. It's November so you will need to bid high. $2-5 per sq ft, probably. Whatever the bid is it will be averaged out when the month starts. Ex. Bid $5 but the actual price per sq ft is $3.45. If you don't get approved after 48 hours (or less, depending) re-bid. Be mindful of how much space you request. When you sell items it will take $0.10 or $0.15 off the potential bill. If you get approved in November only sales in December will count towards reducing your bill.
