I hear this every week. And it drives me absolutely mad.
You know what customers need?
To find your products where ๐ง๐๐๐ฌ shop.
Not where ๐ฌ๐ข๐จ want them to shop.

You're essentially saying:
"We'd rather have zero sales from 300+ million Amazon shoppers than miss out on an email address."
That's not strategy.
It's stubbornness.
Here's the reality check:
โ Amazon customers ARE loyal customers (just not to your website)
โ They have Prime subscriptions and shopping habits you can't replicate
โ Most will never visit your DTC site
โ You're fighting customer behaviour instead of embracing it
The brands winning right now? They treat Amazon & DTC as separate channels:
โข Different customers.
โข Different strategies.
โข Different goals.
Stop forcing shoppers into your emails. Start showing up where they want to buy.
Your competitors already figured this out.
