4 IS THE MAGIC NUMBER!!
We are indeed 4 weeks out from the Next Amazon Community Event.
I'm feeling a bit Nostalgic about last years one as we close in on the 3rd December.
ALSO it's interesting to see how much grey my hair has gotten. It's evolution, darling.
It was really one of the best days of my career and I said that at the time and I feel the same today.
Getting people into a room to discuss Amazon Topics, their issues, challenges, hear from leaders in the industry, but also be able to have those direct conversations with peers and explore solutions and different ways of working gives me a lot of joy.... even more joy when they're dressed for Christmas.... and let me ask them if my nickname should be
Austin PATwers
Or
PATbull
Remember which won the vote?
I'll absolutely be wearing a Christmas Jumper Again. Probably this one until it falls apart as I wear it.
I also got some lovely comments on my Christmas Socks which obviously didn't last the whole day.
Would have loved to do it at the Comedy Store again, but the bouncer was legit rude to so many people that we just thought "sod that".
So this time it's a private members club and it'll be a super fun vibe - hopefully starting with when you enter through the whole event!
Then onto the pub!!
As it's Christmas I'm going to share the link in the comments to sign up!! I've never done this before and have no idea what to expect. Could be a laugh I reckon.
Unlike Christmas - unfortunately with a limited capacity we can't just admit everyone who signs up on a first come first served (sorry) and will need to have some sort of prioritisation - honestly don't be offended if we don't admit you, it's not personal... unless it literally is but I won't tell you that 🙃, but for most of you, it's not personal.
Thanks to the legends in these photos for making it so fun last time round - hope to see you there in some capacity this year too!
Clara P.,
Melis Kip
Charlotte Myles
Ben Meyer
Josh Clarkson
Vlad Terentiev🇺🇦
Martin Heubel
I also see Ant Finch and Cam L. in their too - anyone else we recognise!?
It's from 1-5pm - so if you're Christmas party is in the evening, come along and pre-drink with us (is that still a thing?!)
We'll have a pub after as well if you don't have your Christmas party on that day.
I've just found out our "presidents club dinner" or whatever it's called is the same day, but it's a day event and not a dinner.... the things I do for you lovely lot.
Worth it though.
So so worth it.
Love Pat😘😘😘
