💕There are a lot of conversations about how AI will make us more efficient and help us scale, but not as many about how we as humans adapt to the change.

That is why I was so excited to hear Abi Harmon from House Harmon speak about adaptability in the age of AI.

Abi helped us think about how the state of our body informs how we react to things both professionally and personally. She anchors everything in neuroscience and made the point that our brains interpret risk the same way they have for centuries. A new email, five new Slacks, or a text message are interpreted as threats the same way an attack of a saber tooth tiger 🐅 would be.

The good news is that we can train our bodies to react to threats differently. Some of my takeaways that I am going to try and implement from Abi’s session:

🧘 Notice what I feel in my body especially in times of stress and acknowledge it

⏰Include intentional moments of reset in my day whether it is a 30 second breathe or a quick walk

🦶 Feel my feet on the ground and anchor myself before each conversation

Do you feel like you are in the hamster wheel of AI? I know I do!
