Over the past 8.5 years, I’ve bootstrapped a business from nothing to 8 figures in annual revenue
There have been many times when I’ve wanted to give up, sell out, or just make the stress all go away
Adam Robinson was someone who pushed me to keep going even though he didn’t know he was pushing me
He was a champion of bootstrapping and not taking outside capital
But he was also crafty and efficient, which caused me to challenge my own thinking
He pioneered many guerrilla B2B marketing tactics
In fact, his content marketing style inspired me to create my own style that would break through the noise
Which was actually transformative for our business
While I never got the chance to meet Adam, he certainly left his mark on me
As I head out for a family vacation tomorrow, I’ll cherish my time with my family even more
Because Adam’s unexpected and early passing is a reminder that nothing in life is truly guaranteed except for death
