Our agency alone sells over $1 billion dollars worth of product now.

When I first started Amazon was to digital marketing (2016) what TikTok Shop is to e-commerce (2026).

Amazon ads used to just to be a sidebar.

The average cpc was 10 cents per click

And that is on competitive keywords

Amazon didn't even include conversion rate as a metric because no one really measured that for a while.

I almost didn’t even take the amazon ads management job opening at my first gig because I thought Amazon was still a bookstore.

Eventually I saw the opportunity, so I went all in.

After my third month in my 7-person office, where I had no friends because everyone was older than me and I was 21

I had an epiphany, this (amazon) was going to be a huge business.

Everything finally clicked for me, where the platform was going.

That year, Amazon was only doing 550 million in sales total at the time (2016)

Now Amazon does 19.8 billion dollars in ad revenue last quarter

The first ad budget that blew my mind was 300k a year (that was insane to me)

We spend a lot more than that in a week now.

So yes, you can say I got in super early before it was cool.

What's the next BIG thing in ecommerce?
