Most people are still treating Claude as just another chatbot.
And that's where they're missing its real potential.
If I were setting everything up again from zero, here are the first 15 things I'd put in place:
1. Pick the right model
→ Fable 5 for complex work
→ Opus 5 for ambitious tasks
→ Sonnet 5 for everyday work
→ Haiku 4.5 for speed
For important tasks: increase the effort level.
2. Turn repeated prompts into Skills
The goal is simple: stop explaining the same workflow again and again.
My essentials:
→ Skill Creator
→ Anti-AI rewrite
→ How-to
→ Fable prompting
→ Hands-off handovers
3. Connect Claude to your actual work
My core stack:
→ Granola for meetings
→ Gmail + Slack for context
→ Google Drive for documents
→ Gamma for presentations
Better context = better output.
4. Use voice for complex prompts
Speaking detailed context is often much faster than typing it.
5. Add role-based plugins
Sales. Marketing. Finance. Operations.
Build the workflow first.
Automate it second.
That’s the bigger lesson:
Stop treating Claude like a blank chat box.
Build a system around it.
That’s where the real leverage starts.
