We hosted one of our Morrison Seger Venture Capital Partners “Young Guns” dinners in Dallas a few weeks ago! Easily one of my FAVORITE ways to spend an evening.
We had people in the room from family office, PE, pro sports, wealth management, beverage, real estate, hospitality and banking, including Shadi Bakour, co-founder of PATH. These guys (and gal) are doing things at this stage of life that I never would have pulled off at their age.
Thanks to everyone who came. Shane Egan sponsored the night, and Sendero Provisions Co. and Stiller's Soda put together some awesome swag bags :)
Community MATTERS. Most of us can help each other in some way; it doesn’t have to be a big favor. Breaking bread with great people is a gift.
PS: Age IS a mindset. I just happened to be the only one in the room whose driver’s license disagreed...
