People who say autonomous buying isn't happening anytime soon are just wrong. Sorry! 🙂

It's the Blockbuster stance in a streaming world. We're like two steps away from this being not clunky, which I think is the main barrier for people whether they know it or not.

In this New Balance example, my agent set up a watch where all that's left is one tap from me. Banks letting me pre-approve a purchase would remove that tap. Stores trusting real agents instead of blocking them as bots would handle the rest. Payment networks are already building both.

I'd TOTALLY buy these shoes now. If headphones you wanted to buy someone for Christmas hit a certain price, wouldn't you sign off on that now if you knew it would be seamless?

Amazon already does this btw. You can set a price on Alexa for Shopping, and it buys when the price hits. I bet we see stats on this from the holidays proving a lot of people did this.

2027 is about that same experience working at any store through personal agents.

I get that rainy day budget stuff happens and everyone's in different situations. But we autopay our bills because we trust the back end. Why not commerce?

Honestly I'm already annoyed that I have to do anything for this purchase. I just want it to happen. Once enough of us get used to the one tap, that frustration is what will push banks and stores to catch up and bust this open.

PS agentic frameworks are what will set you up for success most with personal agents. DM me for one we've been working on at Azoma.
