I think customers love your product and forget to say so.
Hear me out, reviews take time to build, and plenty of happy buyers never get around to leaving one, which is an odd thing to wait on when the product is already good.
To address that, Amazon announced Review Requests, and its open beta starts in the US in late October, and I went through the details so you don’t have to read the fine print with a highlighter.
Now, a verified buyer who recently purchased your product sees a prompt while shopping, leaves a star rating with one tap, and can add a written review, photos, or video if they feel like it.
In Amazon’s early tests, products received about 3x as many ratings and reviews per week as before, and because those reviews live on your detail page, every shopper who visits benefits, not only the ones who saw the prompt.
Campaigns run through Amazon Ads Agent with the same bid and budget controls you already use, and they stop on their own once a product reaches 1,000 reviews, so this fits products that are selling but still building trust.
Of course, Vine helps at the very start of a launch, this comes later, two different levers for two different moments.
More reviews also means more of whatever your customers already feel about the product, so here is what I would do first:
➡️ Pull your ASINs under 1,000 reviews
➡️ Read the return reasons on each one
➡️ Fix the recurring complaint in the listing before you amplify it
➡️ Check that your ad account has no active policy violations, since that is part of eligibility
Then comes the part that decides whether it was worth it, because 3 times the reviews sounds great, but the number that matters is cost per added review next to the rating lift.
Write down your weekly reviews and average rating before the campaign starts, then divide spend by the reviews above that baseline once it runs.
If the rating holds and the cost makes sense against your margin, you are speeding up something that already works.
Hope this saves you some time, and if you need a hand on the Amazon side after reading this, DM me.
