Stop treating Vendor Central and Seller Central as a one or the other decision.
They're two different trade offs, and the right mix usually isn't all in on either.
Vendor Central gives you Amazon's partnership opportunities and a simpler operational model, at the cost of margin control and terms that move every year whether you like it or not.
Seller Central gives you pricing control and keeps margin in your hands.
The accounts getting Amazon right are running a hybrid model, often 1P for the core range where Amazon's process helps, 3P for new launches, test SKUs or markets where they want pricing control while they learn.
It's a harder model to run, but it's also usually the one that protects margin best over a 3 to 5 year view.
Is your Vendor vs Seller split a decision, or just the one that got made years ago and never revisited?
