Geoffrey Huntley wrote this week that if your team is too busy doing their normal job to experiment with AI, you're preparing them to be replaced.
This post is not only about software engineers, but about operators as well.
He cites roughly 3x output per engineer. For people running ecom and Amazon businesses, it should be 5x at least.
The stuff that used to eat hours:
➢ weekly sales recaps
➢ ad budget reviews
➢ listing audits
Those are the first hours you get back once someone sits down and tries it.
"Too busy" is the trap. The only limitation is you.
What's the one recurring task on your team you'd hand off first if you had the time to set it up?
This ties to the numbers that Karpathy numbers that I posted the other day. There is a gap.
