Sitting at my desk for the first time since September 20th.

What can I say about this West Coast trip?

It was magical, cathartic, healing.

Amazon Accelerate

Recorded a podcast. Spoke to big crowds twice. Connected with old friends and met so many new ones. Seattle is always a treat.

Portland - Eugene - Redwoods - Travel days

These days were borderline spiritual for me. As a dad of two that works non stop, just creating freedom of time and space for a few days was powerful. Running and hiking in new cities and forests. 🤌🏻 being able to just move freely in whatever direction the energy took me was so rare and special. Driving the coast and stopping for random meals and walks, ugh I’m lost in it.

Amazon Unboxed

This was the tamest of area of the trip. Maybe I was a little tuckered out by the time I arrived. The Black Keys slayed and I spent this trip focused on connecting with vendor partners and made some new friends along the way.

Crazy how I never really got homesick this time. I kind of found my home on the road.

That said, today I woke up at home. I made my own breakfast and coffee. I loved up on my dogs non stop. I laughed with my kids. I put on pajama pants and commuted ten steps to my office.

I’m sooooo thankful to have a few days to just settle into this. Fall is squarely here in Buffalo.

Time for jazz, pumpkins, and enjoying as the world slows down a bit around here.

Feeling extreme gratitude for every moment and every person I interacted with.
