Another AI subscription, this time it lives inside Amazon.
Spotted this at Accelerate, still deciding how I feel about it.
Because let's be honest, most of us are already paying for at least one AI tool to help us think through the business, so watching Amazon roll out its own version, one that lives exclusively inside Seller Central, raises a fair question.
Is this actually solving something new or just moving the same problem into a fancier room?
I started poking around Amazon Quick because the part that caught my attention was that Quick connects directly to your account data, and depending on how much access you decide to give it, it can go beyond just telling you something is off and actually make the update itself, like:
• Adjusting a price
• Flagging a financial issue before it costs you a listing
• Providing alternatives to catalog error before it turns into a case that sits open for weeks
So this is not just an AI reading your account, it is one that can act on it.
All this makes the earlier question feel a little bigger, are we ready to hand that kind of access to a tool built by the same platform we are trying to manage, or does keeping the AI we already use in that loop still matter more than the convenience.
If that's your question, we are lucky because Amazon just gave all sellers 1 year for free to test it out.
