7 years ago, I started a company right before COVID.
Everything was awesome, then COVID hit all of our clients fired us and I start wondering why...
Then after a 60 day drought we close 1 deal then 2 more within a week.
One was a pretty big sports nutrition brand
We didn't have much money but got all dressed up to celebrate finally having income coming in.
I remember this dinner so much because we earned it.
And we forget it wasn't always this easy to get to this point
Lots of iterating on pitches.
Those 3 deals were ads only. Now we do content, DSP, management, advanced analytics, shoot we event built our own custom software.
It took putting in the hard work, doing it till you make it, and making a whole bunch of mistakes along the way.
When I think back to that season I almost miss the grit of it, but I'm so so happy with where we are today. 🚀
