The search term report after an event is a product brief.

The search term report after an event is a product brief.

Most teams treat it like cleanup.

That is backwards.

A supplement brand harvested 72 hours after their last big coupon window.

Nine converting queries had never appeared in the title, bullets, or A+ modules.

Shoppers were describing a use case the listing still called something else.

Those nine terms had:

→ 41 orders

→ 12.8% CVR

→ $2,900 in spend

→ Zero listing language match

We did not start by adding nine exact campaigns.

We started by rewriting the listing around the language the event proved.

Then we graduated the terms.

14 days later, organic rank on two of those queries moved from page 3 to page 1.

Ad ACOS on the cluster fell 9 points because the page finally agreed with the query.

The event paid for market research.

The listing had to cash it.

The 72-hour pass we run:

→ Export converting terms from the event window only

→ Separate branded, generic, and "we do not even rank for this"

→ Anything with 3+ orders and no listing match becomes a copy ticket, not just a keyword

→ Anything with spend and zero orders becomes a negative or a creative problem

→ Harvest into exact only after the page can support the term

If you wait two weeks, the auction has moved and the lesson is stale.

One of those nine terms was "for shift workers."

The listing still led with "morning energy."

Same product.

Wrong clock.

After the copy change, that cluster's CVR went from 12.8% to 15.1% because the page finally agreed with the query.

Q4 will produce the cleanest demand language you will get all year.

Read it like a brief.

Then change the page, not just the bid.
