Nobody warned us Amazon would be touching bundles again.

Nobody warned us Amazon would be touching bundles again.
You built a brand, you have your process to build the bundles that sell, and then you find that starting January 11, most single ASIN bundles need to come packaged by the original manufacturer, that a Letter of Authorization might save you, and that nobody can quite confirm whether that letter gets reviewed before or after your listing goes down.
So, to not get in that cycle of keeping your listings alive, here is all you should know:
🔵 Authorized repackaged products are allowed, meaning reconfigured and repackaged items stay compliant as long as the paperwork backs them.
🔵 You need a Letter of Authorization from the brand owner or manufacturer, and it has to cover every brand sitting inside the box.
🔵 That letter gets uploaded to your Account Health dashboard if the bundle gets flagged after January 11.
Gifting browse nodes and camera product types are exempt, and virtual bundles never apply since nothing is physically packed together.
It also opens doors, because you can now bundle in Books, Music, Video, DVD and Video Game, bundle with generic products, service plans or gift cards, and even build multi brand bundles in Consumables with the letters in place.
If this feels familiar, it should, since October 2024 killed custom bundles in grocery, pet, baby, health and beauty, and the later clarification introduced the Letter of Authorization and the gift basket escape hatch everyone started using.
Now that same rule is leaving its neighborhood and reaching most single ASIN bundles, so if you sat out 2024 because it missed your category, this is the round that finds you.
Worth pulling your bundle list this week and requesting those letters while brands still have time to answer.
