Creatine searches on Amazon have roughly 4x'd since 2023, and the interesting part isn't the volume, it's who is searching. The buyer driving the growth is now just as likely to be a woman in her 40s thinking about muscle retention and healthy ageing as a lad in a gym, and the category is compounding at something like 25% a year off the back of the longevity conversation going mainstream.

Most brands are still selling creatine like it's 2015 though. Black tubs, explosive power claims, gym imagery, listings built entirely around bodybuilding keywords. That content converts the old buyer and quietly repels the new one, who is searching from a completely different starting point and pricing in trust, not intensity.

The search data shows you the shift early, and honestly AI makes spotting it trivial now, it will map the query growth and the changing demographics before lunch. What it won't do is make the positioning call: whether your product meets the new buyer with new imagery, a different tone and a different shelf, or whether you defend the traditional one. That's a brand judgment, and it's the part that actually determines whether you capture any of that 4x.

If you sell creatine, or anything else the longevity crowd is adopting, it's worth checking whether your listing was written for the buyer you had or the one arriving.
