✋While everyone's learning AI, I'm teaching my kids something more valuable…
The ☕️ is I am teaching my kids to be unemployable by AI.
Sounds dramatic? Maybe.
But here’s what I’m seeing.
No-phone zones at DJ gigs.
Tech-free cafes popping up in London.
People paying more to disconnect.
And then there’s art…. A passion of mine.
AI can churn out a thousand stencil designs before breakfast. Perfect technique. Zero soul.
But the Jackson Pollock hanging in a gallery? Banksy the street artist who captures something raw and real?
That’s going up in value, not down.
Because it came from somewhere AI can never reach.
Instinct. Emotion. The glorious mess of being an imperfect human.
So when my kids ask what they should learn, I don’t say “code” or “prompt engineering.”
I say: Be a big thinker.
Grow a brand.
Be creative.
Break the norms,
Learn a craft or
help tranform peoples lives.
Because here’s the reality we’re heading into…
LLMs are brilliant at remixing the internet. At copying patterns. At being ‘good enough.’
But true innovation? The stuff that makes people feel something, changes behaviour, builds movements?
That’s always been human. And it always will be.
The brands that win in 10 years won’t be the ones who automated fastest.
They’ll be the ones who stayed human longest.

If I was starting out as a father today, I’d double down on this even harder.
Teach them to think differently. To trust their gut. To create things that don’t follow the formula.
Because in a world where everyone has the same AI tools, originality, strategic thinking and creativity, become the scarcest resources…
