Amazon Agency Branding: Why Some Fly and Others Stay Stuck
I’ve been speaking with a lot of agency owners lately.
Smart. Talented. Passionate.
But many are whispering the same questions:
👉 “Why aren’t we winning more business?”
👉 “Why do others seem to be flying while we’re barely moving?”
And look, I get it. You’re putting in the hours. You’re delivering results. But the growth you thought would come by now … hasn’t.
The knee jerk answer?
“We must be losing on price.”
But in truth, and I say this with nothing but love, it’s almost never about price.
It’s about positioning.
It’s about branding.
It’s about the soul of your agency.
The agencies that are flying right now? They’ve done the deep work. They’ve built brands that are crystal clear on who they are and who they serve. They’re not blending into the beige wallpaper of “we do everything for everyone.”
And the real differentiator:
The ones flying fastest are usually led by founders who’ve stepped out of the day to day grind.
They’ve built leadership teams who can run the machine.
They’ve created space for themselves to do the things only they can do:
✔️ Define the brand’s identity
✔️ Set the roadmap
✔️ Build a pipeline of ICPs perfectly aligned to what they offer
Because you can’t do that if you’re still firefighting Slack messages, checking every deliverable, and sitting in 14 client calls a week.
The founders who succeed aren’t just building brands that stand out in a noisy market, they’re also building businesses that don’t collapse without them.
That’s the combination that makes an agency unforgettable.
So if you’re stuck, it’s not that you’re not good enough.
It’s that you haven’t made yourself distinct enough, or freed yourself enough, yet.
Get clear on who you are. Build the team that can run without you. And then?
You stop chasing. You start attracting.
