If you’re a brand selling between $5M and $100M, inventory should be your #1 priority.

Here’s why:

At $5M, you already have a business. You probably grew it fast, scrappy, and without much structure. Your focus was sales, not systems.

But your margins are razor thin. Why? Because you still treat inventory as an afterthought.

Remember: marketing creates revenue; inventory creates profit.

At $25M, you're probably thinking of implementing an ERP. My advice? Wait.

It’s too early.

First, you need a state-of-the-art inventory planning practice.

Most systems (like Flieber) can connect directly to your data sources and manage your inventory levels across all channels. You don’t need the complexity of an ERP just yet.

At $75M, you already have an ERP and your company has shifted to “operational efficiency” mode.

But planning? Still being done in Excel… or in the ERP’s demand planning module (which sucks).

This is the danger zone. You have the illusion of stability, but one wrong inventory decision can cost millions and ruin your business.

👉 For brands between $5M and $100M, inventory planning isn’t “a function.” It’s the foundation. Ignore it, and your growth will eat your profits alive.
