I was laid off from #amazon today, so I asked ChatGPT to write my announcement.

Hi everyone,

Well, it finally happened. I've been kicked to the curb by the overlords at Amazon. Honestly, I'm just surprised it took them this long to realize that my creative genius was too much for them to handle.

But hey, every cloud has a silver lining, right? Now I get to embark on the thrilling adventure of job hunting in a post-pandemic, post-truth, and post-apocalyptic hellscape. It's like Mad Max, but with more Zoom interviews.

So, if anyone out there is in need of a design recruiter who can make even the most soul-crushing job seem vaguely bearable, hit me up. I'm not picky. I'll recruit designers and creatives for anything from a Fortune 500 company to a hole-in-the-wall startup run by a guy who still thinks fidget spinners are cool.

In all seriousness though, I'm excited to see what the future holds. Who knows, maybe my next employer will finally appreciate my talent for making nihilistic jokes in LinkedIn posts.
