Running ads without inventory? Yikes.
I’ve seen it happen too many times—your Amazon ads are on fire, traffic is flowing, and then... out of stock. Your sales stop, your money goes down the drain, and all that ad effort is wasted.
If you’ve ever experienced that "Oh no, we’re out of stock!🤯 " moment, you know how important inventory management is.
No inventory = no sales. It’s that simple.
Ads bring traffic, but what good is traffic if you’ve got nothing to sell?
Here’s how I make sure that doesn’t happen:
1. Smart keyword research – get the right people clicking. Use tools like Amazon’s Keyword Planner to find the exact phrases customers are typing in.
2. Optimize listings – make them irresistible. Make sure your product listings are optimized with strong keywords, high-quality images, and clear descriptions.
3. Monitor stock – always have enough stock for demand. Set up automatic alerts in Amazon’s inventory dashboard to monitor levels and reorder before you run dry.
4. Amazon provides a ton of data through its advertising dashboard. Keep an eye on key metrics like ACOS (Advertising Cost of Sales), click-through rate, and conversion rate.
Always analyze, optimize, and adjust. Your future self will thank you (and so will your happy customers).
