Canva skills gained unexpected recognition at Amazon Accelerate. The author received numerous compliments on their Canva-created main images. This led to a decision to focus on creating more Canva content for Amazon brands and agencies.

Amazon Accelerate 2024 is over.

And here’s the biggest takeaway for me..

Canva is super powerful.

I was literally stopped about 20 times throughout the show by brands, agencies and even Amazon Amazonians themselves telling me:

“John, I love what you do with main images on Canva. Please do more of that - love watching it!”

It was pretty surreal for me.

Why?
⤷ I never thought in a million years that me posting videos on LinkedIn and YouTube would get me “Canva famous” with people in our space.

It made me feel pretty good.

I love helping people.
I love showing people new things.
I love teaching people to try tactics.

It’s a passion of mine.

Could I run my own agency?
→ Yes. I’ve worked at the best and know the best processes, practices and procedures on how to scale and grow. And to be honest, I could really be successful.

Will I do that?
→ No. I don’t have passion behind it.

And if I cannot do something without 100% passion and excitement behind doing it, it’s not going to bring me happiness.

So that being said, I’m going to triple down on Canva videos for Amazon brands & agencies AND triple down on my efforts to get the attention of Canva to shine more light on empowering Amazon brands and agencies MORE in the future.

I swear - I was 3 more people away from someone asking if I can sign their laptop, face or butt.

I’m just kidding.
⤷ or am I?

At the airport now waiting for my red eye flight.
