New: Amazon Vendor Central has rolled out a new catalog portal that looks eerily similar to Seller Central. Is the VC/SC merge coming?

Years ago I predicted we would see a merge between the platforms
A couple days ago we saw a VC purge
And today we see a new portal

The signs are coming that we're going to see a merge between Vendor and Seller Central.

What could this mean to everyone? A single portal for all sellers. Perhaps some of the outdated VC garbage UI gets revamped.

Perhaps VC sellers finally get Brand Analytics
Perhaps VC sellers don't have to pay for premium A+ content which is free on Seller Central.

Time will tell.
