Amazon now requires you to nuke your entire ASIN if any counterfeit resellers tag on your listing.
"Amazon has updated its counterfeit policy..
If your trademark is infringed upon on a product detail page and the ASIN product itself is for a counterfeit product, you must report the complete ASIN instead of individual seller offers (counterfeiters).."
Either allow everyone to sell your product (even counterfeits) or shut down your entire listing.
This is a win-win for Amazon, since it creates 2 scenarios:
1) Removes protections for Brand Owners and floods listings with random resellers, all racing to the bottom — generating more orders and driving prices down.
Or
2) Pushes Brand Owners to enroll in Transparency — a program Amazon profits from.
Currently, it costs just $0.01–$0.05 per unit — but knowing Amazon, it’s their new opportunity to raise fees, add misc charges, and squeeze Brand Owners.
