Amazon's new AI image generator for A+ content lacks quality. While it may help small sellers, low-quality AI images could deter shoppers. Alternative AI uses in e-commerce include analyzing competitor reviews and scaling designs across large catalogs.

❌ At Amazon Accelerate, there was a significant focus on their new AI image generator for A+ content.

While the potential is there, I have yet to see 100% AI-generated content that I would ever share with a client.

I’m open to being proven wrong—perhaps one day someone will change my mind!

Currently, the AI generator lacks quality outputs, but it could be a lifeline for smaller sellers with zero budgets for creatives.

However, we must ask ourselves: is something better than nothing?

If low-quality AI images deter shoppers and push them toward competitors, the tool may do more harm than good.

We’re leveraging AI in smarter ways, such as:

1️⃣ Analyzing competitor reviews to better understand our target audience.
2️⃣ Creating our own stock lifestyle imagery to maintain brand consistency.
3️⃣ Using Amazon's Rekognition to gauge how Amazon and perhaps Rufus interprets our images.
4️⃣ Scaling tailor-made designs across hundreds or thousands of ASINs for clients with large catalogs.

For now, high-quality creatives like the one below are driving sales increases of up to 2500% for our clients.
