Amazon updates ad settings to control off-platform spending. Previous options caused excessive spend on external placements, leading to new "Limit off-Amazon spend" feature.

Amazon quietly changed the settings for ads served off-Amazon in SP campaigns.

Previously, the available options were "Maximize reach" and "Minimize spend." Many sellers noticed that the "Maximize reach" setting led to an increase in wasted spend on off-Amazon placements.

Now, Amazon has introduced a new option to "Limit off-Amazon spend."
