🚨 MEGA Breaking 📣
Amazon has very few wins these days but they actually listened to sellers for once.
Returnless refunds has been a feature requested for sellers for over 5 years and they just delivered. Took them long enough!
3P sellers now have total and complete control over their returns. 🎉
Let's walk through the the most exciting part first.
😍 Returnless: In a nutshell, what this means is that you now have the ability to opt out of the returns process entirely for each of your products. A word of clarification though, this means ALL your products, like your entire catalog.
100% of returns will be marked as unfulfillable and never go back into FBA inventory. I can't tell you how many times I wish I had this ability with products in the past. If you just did a little dance, it's OK, I did one too.
😅 Classic: This is what Amazon has historically done for years. Any returns are evaluated by both AI and humans and if they are in sellable condition, they go right back into your FBA inventory to be sold again to someone else.
👀 Pick & Choose: Amazon will only evaluable the sellability of ASINs you choose and the rest of your catalog is marked as unfulfillable and never goes back into your FBA inventory. This is a great option for sellers with multiple brand is multiple categories with varied return and defect rates.
Amazon is giving sellers the ability to control their returns on a very granular level, something that was just a dream many years ago.
