Amazon Community Updates (March 3, 2024)

1. Amazon launches a beta for non-sellers to advertise. The program allows businesses outside Amazon's retail scope to use Sponsored Display ads, leveraging Amazon's audience insights. It offers an easy interface with no minimum spend, expanding reach through updated targeting options.

2. Amazon introduces a "Buy Again" button. This feature emphasizes repeat purchases, nudging customers towards familiar products. Sellers can leverage this by refreshing product images to attract repeat business.

3. Amazon's AI could change your listings without consent. The "Review Listing Updates" program automates listing optimizations, but sellers must monitor AI suggestions closely. It aims to enhance listings but requires careful brand alignment.

4. Virtual bundles grab prime online space. Elevating average order values and testing grounds for physical combos. They're reshaping retail strategies.

5. Amazon's new rule could cost you. AGL demands a $350 Continuous Bond, far pricier than the $50-$75 single entry option. It's not worth it for those importing under four shipments annually.

6. Amazon updates search results and now includes variations. The sports category sees the first rollout. A significant change for shoppers and sellers alike.

7. Amazon Ads introduces new bulksheets features. Sponsored Brands now supports search term reports and multi-ad group campaigns, enhancing ad targeting and management. These updates offer more control and efficiency for vendors and sellers globally.

8. Amazon revamps FBA. Introducing hefty fees for previously free services. The rollout, unannounced and glitchy, could cost sellers millions.

9. Amazon EU clamps down on coupon usage. The move, diverging from US norms, hints at regulatory motives. This shift could reshape marketplace strategies.

10. Amazon is monopolizing the supply chain and squeezing out competition. By taking over logistics, Amazon can undercut prices to attract customers, then hike fees across the board, from shipping to storage. This strategy threatens market competition and could harm sellers long-term.
