How I read an Amazon PPC CV in 60 seconds.
Skip the tool list. Helium 10 is on 47% of the CVs we see. Only 27% of job posts ask for it. Knowing a tool is not knowing what to do with it.
Look for monthly ad spend. $5k a month and $500k a month are different jobs.
Look for a number with a starting point. "ACOS from 38% to 24% in 3 months" tells me something. "Improved ACOS" tells me nothing.
Look at the verbs. "Managed" often means "helped". In the interview, ask who made the bid decisions.
Check DSP and AMC claims. 32% of CVs mention DSP, and hands-on DSP is the skill gap we see most in final interviews.
A good CV gets someone to the test. It never gets them the job.
